  • HOW MUCH DOES A CLEANING COST?

    Every space is unique, and every cleaning fee is individually based. Our prices are based on the size of your house and how often you’d like to get it cleaned. We have a standardized formula for calculating each individual cleaning estimate.

  • WILL ALL CLEANING VISITS COST THE SAME AMOUNT?

    The first (initial) cleaning visit usually costs more than regular visits. Generally, it takes additional time to do the first cleaning, especially if the space hasn’t been professionally cleaned before. Regular house cleaning visits are charged as a flat fee. You will receive an estimate for both the initial cleaning and the regular cleaning visits up front

  • DO I HAVE TO BE AT THE TIME OF CLEANING?

    Most customers are either at work or busy with other plans when we clean, so it’s quite common for them to provide us with their garage code or spare key. But if you don’t feel comfortable leaving us a key or door code, please make sure someone is home during the scheduled cleaning time.

  • DO YOU GUARANTEE A DAY AND TIME FOR MY CLEANING APPOINTMENT?

    Firstline Service Solutions ordinarily guarantees a specific day and time for your house cleaning. If you choose to have a schedule that requires an additional confirmation – we will call you a week before your due day to confirm.

  • WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?

    If something comes up that causes a conflict with your cleaning schedule, just call our office. We appreciate a 48 hour notice, but understand that some situations are just unavoidable. When shorter notice is given, however, we may charge a cancelation fee. We do not overbook our schedule. So, if you need to reschedule a cleaning without proper notice, we will not have enough opportunity to fill the schedule with another client. This decreases the maids’ pay. Without consistent wages, we cannot retain the best team members to clean for you. Thus, respecting our procedure for reschedules helps ensure you will get the best cleaning service possible.

  • WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY PETS DURING THE HOUSE CLEANING?

    Please advise us if you have pets and provide any information regarding your pets that would be helpful for us to know. Though not a requirement, we prefer pets to be restricted from the areas we clean, so our maids can clean your home better and more efficiently.

  • HOW SHALL I PAY FOR MY CLEANING?

    You may pay by cash, check or credit card. Payment is due at time of service. If you do not intend to be at home at the time of your maid service visit you may choose to either leave cash or a check on a counter the morning of your house cleaning. A fee will be assessed for all returned checks.

  • DO I NEED TO PROVIDE CLEANING PRODUCTS OR EQUIPMENT?

    Who is providing cleaning supplies and tools will be discussed before the cleaning or during the estimate.

  • DO I NEED TO PREPARE MY SPACE FOR THE CLEANING?

    Please don’t spend any time cleaning before we arrive! Cleaning homes is what we do, after all. Although removing some clutter would help us to clean more effectively in all the areas of your space. Don’t forget to put out clean sheets if we will be changing your linens. And please find a good spot for your pets so they are comfortable while we clean.

  • WHAT IF SOMETHING IS DAMAGED DURING A CLEANING?

    We treat you and your home or office with complete respect. If something does unexpectedly break, we do our best to either repair or replace that item or reimburse you the cost of the damaged item. Firstline is fully insured, so claims are filed when appropriate.

  • WHAT IF MY MAID SERVICE MISSED A SPOT?

    Our services offer consistent, quality home and office cleaning. Like in any relationship, however, miscommunications occur and we may make a mistake. That’s why we offer a  cleaning service guarantee, which means if you notify Firstline within 24 hours, our house cleaning staff will correct their mistake at no charge.
